1. Member Values

BRANDON UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB

Our values and behaviours as members of BUFC define who we are as colleagues, team-mates, officials, parents and supporters inside BUFC, and determine the way BUFC as an entity is viewed by others with whom we come into contact.

All BUFC members are therefore required to:

• Respect our long history and heritage and uphold the very best traditions of football and of our club.

• Comply with our membership conditions, including on time payment of fees and fines, observation of licensing regulations, and maintenance of the necessary qualifications and certifications to work as a club official.

• Respect the physical and financial assets of our club, remembering that these assets are in our collective care and it is our shared responsibility to look after them.

• Respect the rights, dignity and inherent worth of every other club member, and every visitor to our club while they are guests on our premises.

• Not engage in, or condone, or allow to go unchallenged, any form of discrimination or disrespect shown to any others, members or visitors, who are present on our premises.

• Ensure that our own behaviours and the activities we engage in are appropriate for the age, gender, physical capability and ethnicity of all those who are present.

Living our core values is the collective responsibility of everyone who is a member or wishes to become a member of BUFC.

Any members who do not uphold these values render themselves liable to club disciplinary action which could result in their membership being revoked, their permission to hold office in the club being withdrawn, and/or their being banned from attending the club’s premises.
